Ethiopia leverages the BRICS+ Int’l Forum to demonstrate its commitment to global partnership

Addis Ababa, June 19, 2024 (FBC) – A High-Level Ethiopian Delegation led by Vice President of the Prosperity Party at the rank of Deputy Prime Minister, Adem Farah has participated in the BRICS+ and Partner Countries International Inter-Party Forum which took place in Vladivostok, Russia.

The BRICS+ and Partner Countries International Inter-Party Forum which brought together more than 150 representatives of leading political forces from 32 countries has successfully concluded with a resolution 24 points.

Participant countries including Ethiopia have reiterated their commitment to enhance partnership in multifaceted areas of cooperation.

Public and International Relations Head of the Prosperity Party, Adisu Arega, stated that Ethiopia, through its participation in the BIRCS+ International Forum, has achieved an outstanding diplomatic triumph.

Ethiopia, through the Prosperity Party, has demonstrated its partnership for the commitment to building a just and equitable multipolar world order based on international law and the principles of equality and equity in political participation, resource distribution and economic advancement, he said.

Adisu underscored that Ethiopia is known for its leading role in the global partnership spanning from the establishment of the League of Nations to the current United Nations.

He added that Ethiopia has also made historic contribution in the formation of the Organization of African Unity to the establishment of the African Union.

“Ethiopia has share its success stories gained through the leadership of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) and the Prosperity Party at the forum which brought together BRICS+ members and partner countries representing majority of the world population,”

Adisu further emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between BRICS+ and African countries for further results in multiple sectors.
