Addis Ababa, November 20, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopia and Finland have signed a grant agreement amounting to €18.4 million for the implementation of the community-led accelerated WaSH phase IV program in Ethiopia.
Yasmin Wohabrebbi, State Minister of Finance, and Outi Holopainen, Ambassador of Finland to Ethiopia signed the financing agreement via a virtual ceremony held today.
The program will be implemented in rural areas of Amhara, Beni¬shangul- Gumuz, Oromia, Southern Nations, Nationalities and People’s (SNNP), Tigray and Sidama regional states.
The grant is the continuation of the successful long-term Finnish WaSH support to Ethiopia, according to the Ministry of Finance.
