Addis Ababa, June 10, 2021 (FBC) – Land Bank and Development Corporation (LBDC) has announced a feasibility study to build health care village in Ethiopia in partnership with Ministry of Health and the Investment Commission.
Leadership of the three institutes have discussed various issues and agreed that an active public private participation is key in curating mega projects that are aligned to the 10 year plan and in helping leapfrog the realization of the health specialty services roadmap of Ethiopia.
It was also highlighted on the consultative meeting that the feasibility study should outline linkages to the manufacturing industry sector.
Attracting and implementing investment in the specialty and sub-specialty service is a priority which will improve national healthcare accessibility and foundation for acceleration of medical tourism development in Ethiopia, LBDC indicated.
