Addis Ababa, May 7, 2024 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority and the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Democratic Republic of the Congo engaged in deliberations regarding the prospects for collaboration within the aviation industry.
A delegation from the DRC’s aviation sector, headed by Musengezi Kitasa, advisor to the Minister of Transport and Communications, conducted consultations with the leadership of the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority with the objective of enhancing efficiency in air transportation.
The two officials deliberated on the air transport memorandum of agreement designed for both nations, which is anticipated to be formally signed on Wednesday to optimize air travel operations and expand flight routes.
The Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority indicated that the signing ceremony will take place in the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ethiopian Airlines Group.
