Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, May 5, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopians have celebrated the 81st Patriots Victory Day around the Victory Monument at Arat Kilo vicinity, in the capital in the presence of President Sahle-Work, patriots and various segments of the community.
Members of the diplomatic community and several gusts have also attended the event held to commemorate gallantry and sacrifices paid by the patriots to defend sovereignty of the nation.
On the occasion, President Sahle-Work Zewde highlighted the significance of national unity in realizing victory against any threats against sovereignty of the nation.
She called on Ethiopians to nurture culture of dialogue, comprehend one another and emulate spirit of gallantry of the patriots in defending interests of the nation and contributing to the overall development endeavors.
