Addis Ababa, October 23, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia has the third-largest economy among Sub-Saharan Africa countries, according to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
The Prime Minister made this statement today in his remarks at the 16th BRICS Summit which is being held from 22-24 October 2024 in Kazan, Russia.
“Our nation, now the third-largest economy in Sub-Saharan Africa, is endowed with a young and dynamic workforce, vast arable land, and abundant renewable energy resources,” Premier Abiy said.
He underlined that these assets present unparalleled opportunities for investment and trade.
Prime Minister Abiy asserted that his country’s ongoing macroeconomic reforms have unlocked new avenues for growth.
