Addis Ababa, August 3, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD), earlier today met with Hayashi Yoshimasa, Foreign Minister of Japan.
The Prime Minister said the remarks during his meeting with the Japanese Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa who is in Ethiopia for an official visit.
“Ethiopia attaches great importance to its relations with Japan and remains committed to cooperate on issues of mutual interest” the Primer said.
In their discussions on bilateral and multilateral issues, the potential for strengthening trade relations and investments in Ethiopia’s five key economic pillars of agriculture, Industry, technology, mining and tourism was raised, according to PMO.
Following their meeting, they planted tree seedlings within Unity Park as part of Green Legacy initiative.
