Addis Ababa, May 29, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian delegation led by Ambassador Misganu Arga, State Minister of Foreign Affairs held a meeting with Burhanettin Duran, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, today within the scope of the 7th meeting of Ethiopia-Türkiye political consultations mechanism in Ankara.
The consultation marks a step forward in fostering closer relations and collaboration between our two nations, paving the way for enhanced cooperation in various fields, according to the Ethiopian Embassy in Ankara.
During the discussion, bilateral, regional, and multilateral issues of common interest were the focus. In this regard, the two sides agreed to further strengthen the cooperation and partnership in the area of Investment, trade, tourism education and culture.
The deliberation of the candid and transparent discussion is a demonstration to the partnership and commitment of the two countries to elevate the all-round cooperation and engagement to the highest level.
Recall that State Minister Mesganu also headed an Ethiopian delegation at the Ethiopia-Türkiye Business & Investment Forum which was held this weekend in Istanbul.
On the sidelines of the forum, Mesganu met with Salim Metin, CEO of Corbus Metal & Chairman of the Ethiopia-Türkiye Business Council, where they conferred on the investment opportunities of construction and mining sectors in Ethiopia.
