Addis Ababa, October 16, 2024 (FBC) – Ethio Telecom has officially launched the sale of 10% of its stake to citizens. The sale of Ethio-telecom’s 10% stake sale is said a significant step towards Ethiopia’s broader privatization efforts.
The public will be able to purchase shares through Ethio-telecom’s mobile money platform, Telebirr, according to the company. The sale of the stake will run from October 16 to January 3, 2024, it was stated on the launching event.
