Addis Ababa, August 14, 2024 (FBC) – The Ethio-Djibouti Railway S.C. today announced that it has successfully completed transportation of soil fertilizer for the current Ethiopia agricultural growing season
The statement indicated that the railway transported some 266,770 metric tons of soil fertilizer via 103 train sets, surpassing all previous records, which is equivalent to over 7000 trucks.
Ethio-Djibouti Railway extended its gratitude to all departments involved for their “exceptional dedication” and hard work, indicating that their contributions have significantly boosted the agricultural sector and Ethiopia’s economy.
Ethio-Djibouti Railway also pledged to elevate its performances a notch higher for the next Ethiopian new year, indicating the target to increase its market share from 14% to 20% or more.
