ERA, INSA sign IT capacity building agreement

Addis Ababa, May 18, 2020 (FBC) –The Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) has signed a framework agreement with the Ethiopian National Security (INSA) to build its capacity in information technology (IT).

The agreement signed today would enable the authority to receive short, medium and long term trainings on use of modern technology from the agency.

The agreement was signed by Engineer Habtamu Tegegn, Director General of ERA and Dr Shumete Gizaw, Director General of INSA.

Engineer Habtamu said the agreement would help modernize the agency as well as address barriers to service accessibility and delivery.

It would also play a significant role to attain shortly the on-going institutional reforms within the authority, he added.

Dr Shumete on his part pledged to finalize the project within the deadline so as to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.
