EPA Calls on Youth to Join War on TPLF

Addis Ababa, October 22, 2021 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Patriots Association (EPA), the Amhara regional State Branch, calls on the youth in joining the law enforcement campaign undergoing against Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), the Junta currently invading territories in Amhara and Afar regions apart from Tigray.

Branch Chair, Dagnnet Ayalew, has recounted that ‘our forebears regardless of their ethnic and religious backgrounds used to defeat invaders into shame,’ reminding the youth now to carry on the glory of their forefathers by inflicting a crushing blow over forces like TPLF that enter into an  undertaking of pulling Ethiopia into pieces.

Dagnnet also noted that by categorizing Amhara as historical enemies TPLF has always been attempting to carry out a calculated revenge on them.

He has thus condemned the TPLF’s killing of civilians as ethnic cleansing, looting and vandalizing property like schools and health institutions, displacing residents in Amhara and Afar regions.

The chair in other words expressed his appreciation for the national and security forces that are now fighting bravely this divisive TPLF group and its allies.

Member of EPA, Shambel Basha Yenesew, said that currently  what TPLF doing in Amhara and Afar regions is a horrible act which none even think of attempting on fellow human beings.

According to AMC, the branch association has also raised 100, 000 birr to the national law enforcement campaign.
