EPA and key sector ministries in Ethiopia sign MoU to tackle air pollution

Addis Ababa, December 18, 2024 (FMC) – The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) and key sector ministries in Ethiopia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on tackling air pollution and creating a cleaner, healthier environment.

The Authority, through a post on its social media page, indicated that this MoU represents a significant step forward in Ethiopia’s multi-sectoral efforts to enhance environmental sustainability and improve public health.

The collaboration, according to EPA, aims to address the pressing challenges of air pollution through joint actions across various sectors, focusing on reducing emissions, promoting clean energy, and ensuring better air quality.
