Addis Ababa, October 2, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated that hundreds of women have been trained and organized to engage as input suppliers of business in Entoto Natural Park.
“For years the women of Entoto have been invisible to many as they labored on backbreaking work to make ends meet carrying firewood. Through the Entoto project, hundreds have been trained and organized to engage as input suppliers for business in the new park. Transformation entails lifting others in the process.” the Prime Minister said.
The premier said the transformation process entails lifting others in line with improving lives of citizens in the country.
Entoto Natural Park is among the greenery and beatification mega projects being carried out by the government to build image of Addis Ababa, bolster the tourism sector, conserve natural resources and create job opportunities as part of transformation plan of the nation.
Entoto Natural Park, situated in the northern mountainous area of Addis Ababa, is an attractive recreation site project intiatted by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
The natural park has attractive recreational scenes laden with absolutely stunningly dramatic places for relaxation or completely amusing water activities in diverse roundabout streams.
