Addis Ababa, December 22, 2022 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Embassy in Djibouti has confirmed that it has facilitated the repatriation of 39 migrants.
The Embassy, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration office in Djibouti, repatriated the migrants this week.
It is said that 10 of the migrants entered Djibouti after being in dire straits in Yemen. Others had intended to migrate to the Middle East but decided otherwise in Djibouti.
According to the Ethiopian Embassy in Djibouti, 20 of them were minors who were lured by human traffickers.
