Addis Ababa, October 19, 2022 (FBC) – Teshome Toga, Ethiopian Ambassador to China, alongside other ambassadors from the horn of Africa based in Beijing have planted tree seedlings as part of Plant African Fraternity initiative.
Ambassador Teshome organized a seedling planting in the Embassy’s premise, where embassies of East African nations staff members took part.
“[I am] very delighted to bring the Ethiopian Green Legacy to Beijing, where HOA Ambassadors today joined us in planting trees symbolizing our unity and solidarity. We also had a very fruitful exchanges and discussions on the HOA Initiative taken by China. Exchanged info on the Horn”, reads Amb. Teshome’s tweet.
Ambassadors of South Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, Sudan, and Uganda all took part in the tree seedlings planting at the Ethiopian Embassy premise in Beijing on Wednesday 19 October.
