Addis Ababa, April 30, 2024 (FBC) – El Salvador expresses interest in collaborating with Ethiopia in investment, economic development, and South-South Cooperation, which emphasizes the importance of bilateral and multilateral friendship and mutual learning.
The South American’ nation’s desire was revealed during a meeting between Ethiopia’s Minister of State for Finance, Ms. Semereta Sewasew, Minister of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, Alexandra Hill Tinoco, and Ambassador of El Salvador, Ignacio de Cossio, to collaborate on resource, technology, and knowledge exchanges as part of South-South Cooperation.
During the meeting, Minister Hill Tinoco conveyed her government’s interest in fostering collaboration in investment, economic development, and South-South Cooperation. Stressing the importance of bilateral and multilateral friendship and collaboration, she also expressed a desire for mutual learning, given El Salvador’s recent reforms.
State Minister Semereta emphasized the need to strengthen collaboration both bilaterally and globally, expressing gratitude for the Foreign Minister’s commitment to increased collaboration and assuring further dialogue.
