Addis Ababa, September 30, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopian Electric Power and Bahir Dar University signed a cooperation agreement to work together on human resource capacity building and research.
EEP’s Corporate Planning Executive, Andualem Si’a, and Bahir Dar University President, Frew Tegegne (PhD), signed the cooperation agreement.
The Director of Human Resources Training and Development of the EEP, Wondwosen Kassa, remarked that the agreement focuses on research and development, human resource capacity building, consultation and related spheres.
The agreement also creates conducive environment for students and academic of the University to take cooperative training at EEP, he said.
According to the HR Director, the agreement will last for the next five years and will help the EEP achieve its long-term and short-term plans.
EEP has also previously signed similar cooperation agreement with Jimma University.
