Addis Ababa, January 26, 2022 (FBC) – Ministry of Education announced that a team of officials has been dispatched to Tigray to discuss with local stakeholders on ways of resuming regular schools in the region.
Administrative and Infrastructure CEO in the Ministry of Education, Solomon Abraha (PhD) exclusively told FBC that the team will facilitate conditions to resume regular classes of general education in the region.
Members of leadership of Adigrat and Mekelle universities are among the target stakeholders to be met by the delegation with whom they are going to explore possible conditions to resume regular classes in the institutions.
Delegation will also discuss with multiple of stakeholders in the region on how to restart learning teaching process in primary and secondary schools. Ministry of Education has so far sent a team to Axum University where members discussed with the leadership on how to resume classes in the institution.
