DPM Temesgen Truneh holds talks with Prime Minister of Azerbaijan

Addis Ababa, May 16, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Temesgen Truneh, engaged in high-level discussions with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, in the nation’s capital, Baku.

During their substantive dialogue, they explored avenues to further bolster the cooperation between Ethiopia and Azerbaijan across a range of domains, including trade, investment, technology, and other mutually beneficial areas.

Reflecting on the productive consultation, Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen took to his social media platform, stating, “Our deliberations were highly successful, and we have agreed to work in a spirit of unwavering support and collaboration towards the development and prosperity of the peoples of our two nations.”

Recall that the Ethiopian delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen, is currently undertaking an official working visit to Azerbaijan this week.

Throughout his stay, the Deputy Prime Minister has engaged in substantive discussions with various senior government officials of the host country.
