Addis Ababa, February 15, 2023 (FBC) – The FDRE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demeke Mekonnen, held discussions today with the foreign ministers of several countries.
On the sidelines of the 42nd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union, DPM & FM Demeke discussed with José Manuel Albares Bueno of Spain, Lejeune Mbella Mbella of Cameroon, and Kandia Camara of Cote D’Ivoire on bilateral and multilateral venues of cooperation.
During the deliberations, DPM & FM Demeke briefed the aforementioned foreign ministers on current affairs and ways of further expediting the longstanding and multifaceted relations.
The foreign ministers also vowed to take their ties with Ethiopia to a higher level, especially in the areas of trade and investment.
They also affirmed their commitment on working closely on multilateral fora, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
