Addis Ababa, December 3, 2023 (FBC) – The Environmental Protectioin and Sustainable Development Minister of Djibouti, Mohammed Abdulahi Mussa, stated that his country has drawn ample lessons from Ethiopia’s Green Legacy Initiative.
Mohammed Abdulahi made the remarks while he visted the Ethiopian pavilion from where the sucess stories of the Green Legacy Initative are being showcased.
The Djiboutian Minister witnessed that Ethiopia has registred remarkable achivements in the Green Legacy Initative which has been implementing for five consecutive years under the leadership of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD).
Djibouti will work to materialize the lessons it learned from Ethiopia by implemeting green development activities in years to come, he added.
He expressed gratitude to the government of Ethiopia for sharing seedlings to Djbouti, reaffirming his government’s commitment to prmote environmental protection cooperation apart from the exsising collaboration between the two counries in the power and transport sectors.
