Addis Ababa, January 18, 2024 (FBC) – The diplomatic week and exhibition at Science Museum has continued to draw a number of visitors from all different walks of life and it is meeting the objectives of the ministry to make the public understand the rich diplomatic history of Ethiopia and appreciate the role that the ministry has continued to play in advancing the country’s interests, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Meles Alem said.
In a media briefing, the MFA Spokesperson mentioned that the exhibition shows the success and challenges of Ethiopia’s current multilateral and bilateral diplomatic activities.
The exhibition raises the awareness of the public about Ethiopia’s multilateral and bilateral relations, Ambassador Meles noted.
Ethiopian ambassadors and heads of missions designated in different parts of the world as well as officials of the ministry have also been attending annual meeting and discussed multiple national and international issues.
Speaking on the Davos World Economic Forum, Ambassador Meles Alem, reminded that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Demeke Mekonnen is participating in the Forum which aims to discuss current geo-Political issues that need the attention of World leaders and wealthy individual
State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Misganu Arga is also participating in the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Kampala, Uganda.
