Addis Ababa, May 21, 2021 (FBC) – Resident ambassadors and other members of the diplomatic community in Addis Ababa have been briefed on the third round Green Legacy Initiative.
In a briefing session organized by the Office of the Prime Minister, achievements registered during the previou planting sessions and future activities have been presented and discussed by the diplomatic community.
It is stated on the occasion that close to 10 Billion tree seedlings have been planted during the previous two years as the nation is set to plant 7 billion saplings out of which 1 billion is planned for neighbouring countries.
Hundreds of the diplomatic community have attended the brifing session, according to the information from the Office of the Prime Minister.
