Addis Ababa, December 3, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopians, Peoples of Ethiopian descent and friends of Ethiopia living in Germany asked in a letter the western powers including the German government to reconsider their position on Ethiopia in the light of the atrocities being committed by the TPLF Group in the country.
Members of the Diaspora community issued a letter to representatives of Germany in the European Parliament, President of the German Parliament and five major political parties of Germany calling them to reassess their position on Ethiopia.
They articulated in the letter condemnations against TPLF’s invasion in Amhara and Afar Regions, human rights abuses the terrorist Group committed against children, women and elderly in the two regions, assaults, mass killings and widespread displacements of millions inflicted by the TPLF Junta forces.
The joint investigation by Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) and the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has played down false accessions and propaganda the TPLF, the said.
Members of the diaspora further urged the government of Germany and the European Commission to denounce the atrocities being committed by the terrorist TPLF Group, and give due recognition and respect to the democratically elected government of Ethiopia.
