Addis Ababa, July 1, 2024 (FBC) – Federal and regional senior officials, led by Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Truneh, visited the Akobo Etno Mining Company in Dima woreda of Gambella region earlier today.
During the visit, Deputy PM Temesgen was accompanied by the chief administrator of Gambella region, Mr. Umod Ujulu, the Minister of Mines, Mr. Habtamu Tegegn, several ministers of state, and officials of the region.
On the occasion, officials from the Anywaa zone highlighted the overall progress of the company. They mentioned that the company is in good condition and will soon begin operations.
Following their visit to the company’s site, Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen and other officials participated in a tree seedlings planting event in the area.
