Addis Ababa, October 23, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Temesgen Truneh today received Chief of the United Kingdom’s Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) Sir Richard Moore.
In a message published on his social media page, Deputy PM Temesgen disclosed that his discussion with Sir Richard Moore focused on global and regional security as well as peacekeeping efforts.
“Our strong diplomatic ties with the UK stand as a testament to our shared values,” Temesgen noted, emphasizing that his government is committed to working hand in hand with its partners, including the UK, to promote peace and stability throughout the Horn of Africa region.
During the course of their discussions, the two dignitaries reached an agreement to deepen cooperation.
