During the event, Deputy PM Truneh underscored that national sovereignty demands blood-sweat sacrifice. “The freedom and territorial integrity of the country and the honor of its people can be preserved through ultimate sacrifices. Meanwhile, political, economic, knowledge, technological, and financial sovereignty can be ensured through sweat,” he said.
In that regard, the deputy premier further stressed that all Ethiopians are guardians of their country’s sovereignty by dedicating their time, knowledge, and energy.
Since the reforms, the thirteenth month of Pagume, which commemorates Ethiopia’s transitional period, has been observed nationally under a variety of themes.
