Addis Ababa, November 22, 2024 (FBC) – Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh has emphasized the government’s ongoing commitment to modernizing urban areas and enhancing their appeal to tourists nationwide. In a recent social media update, he praised the progress of the initial phase of corridor development in Bahir Dar, highlighting how this initiative will beautify the city.
He affirmed that the project aims to create a more livable environment for residents, as well as for visitors traveling to Bahir Dar for various reasons. The first phase of corridor development is expected to be completed within a few months and is currently being executed around the clock.
Temesgen underscored that the project will reflect the dedication and effort that has been put into it, ensuring the corridors are fully operational upon completion. He reiterated the government’s resolve to modernize cities and enhance tourist attractions, all while preserving their natural beauty and resources.
