Addis Ababa, August 21, 2020 (FBC) –Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa city, Adanech Abiebie this morning visited development project being carried out in the capital city.
Among the projects visited by the deputy mayor, other senior officials and religious fathers, include Meskel square and Adwa park sites.
In her remark, Adanech said the projects would contribute a lot in adding beauty to the city.
The city administration would provide the necessary support and follow-up for the project to be finalized as per schedule, she said.
In a Facebook post, Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed thanked the workers at the projects for their hard work.
“A strong work ethic founded on hard work and diligence is a key pillar of success. Gratitude to the men and women labouring day and night to meet the Mesqel Square revamp deadline,” he said.
Mesqel Square project sees construction of a parking lot enough to accommodate over 1,400 vehicles at once, six LED screens and close to 30 shops.
