Addis Ababa, August 15, 2020 (FBC) –Deputy mayor of Addis Ababa city, Engineer Takele Uma today met with representatives of Addis Ababa-based international agencies and diplomatic community.
The deputy mayor provided a briefing to the representatives on the social services being provided by the administration, including the school-feeding program.
He also gave an explanation about the pottery and handicraft centres established to improve the livelihood of residents, according to mayor office of Addis Ababa.
Engineer Takele requested the diplomatic community to provide support to those engaged in the sector as well as help in creating market linkages abroad for handicraft products.
The representatives for their part commended the on-going works of the city administration and pledged to provide assistance for the development activities.
