Addis Ababa, July 9, 2024 (FBC) – The Institute of Foreign Affairs (IFA) has made a warm welcome for Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) representatives on July 8, 2024.
IFA Executive Director, Jafar Bediru along with Director Generals of IFA, cordially welcomed and held a fruitful meeting with Prof. Zhou Yuyuan, the deputy director and senior fellow of the Center for West Asian and African Studies at SIIS, alongside other members of the delegation.
Both parties discussed on issues on potential mutual cooperation in conducting research, in orgnaizing joint conferences, policy dialogues, collaborative writing projects, publication exchanges as well as in building a platform to exchange the opinions of scholars of each side.
Lastly, in both sides an agreement was reached to aspire for the making of a significant impact in their respective fields in the future with practical MoUs.
