Addis Ababa, September 10, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopian Customs Commission announced that it has collected more than 112 Billion Birr during the concluded 2020/2021 fiscal year.
In a press release the Commission sent to FBC, it has put in place modern and customers oriented customs administration system in a bid to speedy reliable services.
The Commission said it has carried out reform activities in priority areas including institutional capacity building, business excellence, strategic partnership, legal and sustainable growth aspects.
According to the Commission, the revenue earned during the concluded budget year has shown an increase of 104.98 Birr compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.
