Addis Ababa, October 18, 2022 (FBC) – FDRE Land Bank and Development Corporation announced international investment forum will be held in January 26 and 27, 2023.
The Corporation confirmed that it is working hard to turn Ethiopia into one of the world’s top 5 preferred investment hub, especially in the area of sustainable land development.
According to a report by ENA, the international investment forum called “InvestOrigins” sets sights to generate more than $2 billion in revenue by attracting land development companies and investors to Ethiopia.
FDRE Land Bank and Development Corporation CEO, Lensa Mekonnen, in her statement on the upcoming forum, indicated that the Corporation formulated a strategy to attract investment and has been doing various works in the last two years.
She also said that her institution has gained experience by participating in forums organized in different countries.
According to Lensa, efforts are being made to attract different quality investments to the Ethiopian market in the development of housing, health, hotel, education and ICT sectors.
Around 750 local and foreign institutions, investors and actors are expected to participate in person and online in the upcoming “InvestOrigins” international investment forum in January 2023.
