Addis Ababa, January 28, 2021 (FBC) – President of 26th Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP26), Alok Sharma and Minister of Ministry of Agriculture, Omar Hussein discussed the ongoing Ethiopian Green Legacy Initiative.

The two further explored ways how to work together ahead of the Glasgow Climate Summit to be held on November 2021.

Driving climate action through nature based solutions is key COP26 priority, they agreed.

Alok Sharma also discussed with Minister of Ministry of Finance, Ahmed Shide and the National Planning Commissioner, Fitsum Assefa on ways of delivering a green recovery.

“We must ensure finance flows to those on the frontline of Climate Change,” he said.
