Commission delivering aid to over 376, 000 people displaced due to TPLF terror attacks

Addis Ababa, August 19, 2021 (FBC) – The National Disaster Risk Management Commission stated that it has been delivering food and non-food aid to more than 376,000 people displaced due to TPLF terror attacks against civilians in northern parts of the country.

Commissioner Mitiku Kassa exclusively told FBC that the number of people who are in need of humanitarian support is alarmingly increasing in Amhara and Afar Regional states as the criminal TPLF continued attacking innocent people.

He said that the humanitarian support is being delivered solely by the government, expressing commitment to work with any internatinal organizations interested to conntribute to meet the growing need.
