Addis Ababa, August 1, 2024 (FBC) – A 64-member Chinese delegation, including investors and mayors, took part in a Business-to-Government Forum at the Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa which kicked off Wednesday the 31st of July 2024..
The forum involved over 40 Ethiopian government officials, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia (MFA Ethiopia).
Ethiopian and Chinese officials highlighted investment potential and discussed ways to strengthen collaboration to promote investment in sectors like agriculture and energy.
As part of this, the Ethiopian Investment Commission and Ethiopia-China Friendship Committee signed a letter of intent to boost investment between the two countries.
The Chinese delegation will attend an investment forum, visit industrial parks and tourist sites, and will meet with various government departments.
