Addis Ababa, May 23, 2024 (FBC) – A delegation of 76 Pakistani business companies, including prominent firms, will visit Ethiopia from May 26-31, 2024 as part of the second business and trade delegation to the country.
The visit aims to explore trade and investment opportunities, as announced by the spokesperson of the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Nebiyu Tedla.
Ambassador Nebiyu stated that the Pakistani trade and investment delegation plans to tour industrial parks in Bole Lemi, Qilinto, and Adama to gain a better understanding of potential investment avenues and strengthen bilateral economic ties.
Additionally, a three-day Ethiopia-Pakistan Business Forum will be held in Addis Ababa, organized in collaboration with the Ethiopian Investment Commission, the spokesperson added.
The business and trade delegation comprises representatives from various cities in Pakistan, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, and Sheikhupura.
This visit by the Pakistani business and trade delegation is a result of the economic diplomacy efforts undertaken by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia’s embassy in Islamabad.
