Addis Ababa, December 16, 2023 (FBC) – Black Lion Airshow is taking place as part of the closing of the 88th Anniversary of the founding of the Ethiopian Air Force in attendance of Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed (PhD), top military officers, high level government officials and Commandors of African Air Forces.
The Ethiopian Air Force and United Arab Emirates Air Force are jointly performing Black Lion Air Shows in the closing ceremony of Ethiopian Air Force Day being underway in Bishoftu in the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
The closing ceremony of the 88th anniversary of the Ethiopian Air Force is attended by, among others, Chief Staff of National Defense Force, Field Marshal Berhanu Jula and Ethiopian Air Force Commander, Lieutenant General Yilma Merdasa, air force chiefs of various African countries, and chief administrators of regional states and invited guests.
Ethiopian Air Force and United Arab Emirates Air Force are jointly performing an air show named “Black Lion” as a welcoming show to guests attending the occasion.
Earlier today, African air force chiefs visited major infrastructure works and facilities in the Ethiopian Air Force and other tourism destinations in Addis Ababa.
