Addis Ababa, May 8, 2020 (FBC) –The Amhara Regional State Supreme Court has sentenced Bereket Simon and Tadesse Kassa ranging from 6 to 8 years in prison on charges of corruption.
Breket, who was found guilty on two counts, received 6 years of imprisonment and a fine of 10, 000 birr.
Tadesse Kassa, who was found guilty on three counts, sentenced to eight years and fined 15,000 birr.
The Court passed a guilty verdict against both defendants last week.
