UNITED NATIONS, July 18 (Sputnik) – The Belarusian delegation, during its visit to the United Nations, discussed food security issues in the context of opportunities to support African countries, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Ambrazevich told Sputnik.
“Food security is discussed in the sense that Belarus has the unique expertise and industrial capabilities to support any African country, any developing state with our export of tractors and agricultural equipment, and financial assistance to exports,” Ambrazevich said on Tuesday.
According to the Deputy Minister, it regards among other things, the support, in partnership with those countries with which Minsk constantly works, including Russia and China.
