Addis Ababa, July 23, 2020 (FBC) – Bahir Dar City has today inaugurated 57 infrastructural projects built at a cost of 760 Million Birr in a presence of high government officials.
The inauguration ceremony has been honored by the attendance of the Revenue Minister, Lake Ayalew, the Urban Development and Construction Minister, Engineer Aysha Mohammed and President of the Amhara Regional State, Temesgen Tiruneh.
Projects inaugurated in the city include cobblestone pavements, youth recreational centers, Green Public Spaces among others.
On the occasion, Deputy Mayor of Bahir Dar, Amare Alemu said the City Administration has appropriated 1.6 hectare of land for development activities to be carried out on Abay River Banks and Lake Tana.
The high officials have put cornerstone for the construction of Bahir Dar City Municipal Building and Prosperity Party Bahir Dar Branch administrative bureau.
