Addis Ababa, January 7, 2025 (FMC) — The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, has extended Christmas (Genna) best wishes to Ethiopians celebrating the occasion today.
In his message published on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the AUC chairperson wished joy and blessings to Ethiopians and the Orthodox Christian faithful across the world marking the birth of Jesus Christ today.
“Melkam Genna to our Ethiopian friends and collegues, and all those celebrating Orthodox Christmas! With all our best wishes of joy and blessings,” Mr. Moussa Faki noted.
It is known that Ethiopian Christians are observing the Christmas holiday today 7th January 2025 with various religious events across the nation.
