Addis Ababa, November 29, 2024 (FBC) – The African Union Commission is currently hosting high-level strategic consultations with representatives from France at its headquarters in Addis Ababa.
In attendance are the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, along with other key officials.
The discussions focus on deepening the bilateral partnership and exploring cooperative frameworks across various sectors, as well as examining their collaboration in multilateral diplomacy.
This meeting aims to reinforce the partnership between the African Union and France, with key areas of cooperation including peace and security, economic development, climate change initiatives, and education.
