Addis Ababa, November 14, 2020 (FBC) – Demonstrations denouncing the atrocity committed by the TPLF Junta against the National Defense Forces and innocent civilians have continued for the third day in various towns across the nation.
Hundreds of residents of Wolayta Sodo town have taken to streets carrying banners bearing slogans denouncing the treason perpetrated by the TPLF Junta against the national army and the sovereignty of the nation at large.
The demonstrators who are drawn various districts of Wolayta Zone and gathered at Multi-Purpose Stadium expressed firm support to the law enforcement measures being taken against the rebel TPLF junta, and pledged all the necessary support to the national military.
Chief Administrator of Wolyata Zone, Dr. Endrias Geta, called up on the gatherings to extend support to the National Defend Forces and maintain security and of the area with vigilant eyes. Demonstrators also donated blood on the occasion.
Meanwhile, hundreds of demonstrators drawn from various districts of West Harerge have joined the rally held at Haramaya town where they denounced the treacherous act of the TPLF Junta, and affirmed support to the National Defense Forece.
They also endorsed the law enforcement measures the government is taking against the TPLF Junta and pledge any necessary support to the military.
Demonstrators in Haramaya town have resonated slogans like “The TPLF Junta and OLF – Shene group are our enemies.”Our Reform Journey shall not be hindered by the TPLF Junta and its agents,” among others.
