Addis Ababa, February 21, 2024 (FBC) – Ambassador Tsegab Kebebew presented his letters of credence to Alexander Van der Bellen, Federal President of Austria, accrediting him as Ethiopia’s ambassador to Austria, in a ceremony held on 20 February 2024 at Vienna, Austria.
During the discussions held at the ceremony, Ambassador Tsegab briefed the President the current situation of Ethiopia including the progress of the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement signed in Pretoria and other regional issues of mutual concern.
On the growing bilateral relations between the two countries, Ambassador Tsegab reiterated the firm commitment of the Government of Ethiopia to further strengthen both bilateral and multilateral relations with Austria.
Ambassador Tsegab Kebebew, resident in Geneva, Switzerland, is also Permanent Representative of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the United Nations Office at Vienna and other international organizations in Austria.
