Amb Henok discusses with ICOMOS president on inscription, protection of heritages sites in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, February 3, 2022 (FBC) – Ambassador of Ethiopia Ambassador to France, Spain, Portugal, Holy See and Monaco, Henok Tefera has discussed with president of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) on how to support efforts to inscribe and protect heritage sites in Ethiopia.

ICOMOS is an international network of experts that advise UNESCO on protection of world heritage sites.

Ambassador Henok explained to Teresa Patricio, President of ICOMOS that Ethiopia seeks a constructive agreement with international heritage experts to well preserve its heritages.

The two exchanged views on support for national capacity building in inscribing, protecting and managing heritage sites in Ethiopia.
