Addis Ababa, June 5, 2021 (FBC) – Education Bureau of Tigray Interim Administration has today announced finalization of preparations to resume teaching in Mekelle City on upcoming Monday.
Schools have been closed in Mekelle City and other parts of Tigray Region for more than half a year due to the war instigated by TPLF and the consequent law enforcement measures taken by the federal government.
According to the regional education bureau, most of impediments in the learning-teaching process have been resolved, and preparations finalized to reopen all schools in the seven sub-cities of Mekelle.
All schools in the city are ready to enroll students and restart teaching starting from coming Monday, the bureau stated.
