Africa’s integrated infrastructure links augment benefits of youth: Former Leaders

Addis Ababa, November 1, 2022 (FBC) – The former Ethiopian President, Mulatu Teshome, stressed that the benefits of African youth can be enhanced through creating integrated infrastructure network in the continent.

At the African Youth Summit, former leaders of different African countries shared their experiences on Pan-Africanism philosophy and concept to the continent’s prospects.

In his speech at the conference, Mulatu Teshome said that efforts should be made at the international level for regional economic integration.

He emphasized that Africans should strengthen infrastructure links by avoiding conflict and create opportunities in the fields of development.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Ethiopia, the former Ethiopian head of state said that it is necessary to use the potential of the youth and strengthen their leadership role.

The former president of Ghana, Dramani Mahama, said that Africans should protect their own morals and identity by developing African traditional values.

He insisted that the ideas spread through different media are causing identity crisis on the people of the continent and forcing them lose their own indigenous African identity.
