Addis Ababa, November 27, 2024 (FBC) – Marking the 89th anniversary of Ethiopian Air Force, an African Air Forces Forum has kicked off in Bishoftu town, this morning.
The 89th anniversary of the Ethiopian Air Force is being celebrated at its base in Bishoftu town with various programs.
In that regard, the continental forum has brought together, among others, heads of air forces from various African countries and military attachés of various countries based in Addis Ababa.
It was stated that the forum aims to create cooperation among African nations to jointly address mutual challenges.
On the occasion, it was highlighted that the Ethiopian Air Force is equipped with modern technologies and highly skilled personnel.
Building on its achievements to date, Ethiopian Air Force said it is undertaking various activities to become Africa’s best aviation in 2030.
The forum is intended to facilitate Ethiopia share its long-standing experience in the aviation sector with other African countries and to facilitate knowledge and technology transfer.
